From May 20 to 30, our team – represented by Nicolás Durán Mia and Álvaro Guerris Durán – made a strategic trip to Asia in order to strengthen the relationship with suppliers, learn about their production processes and explore the innovations that will mark the future of the sector.
First stop: Taiwan - PDC (Walsin Group)
The tour began in Taiwan, at the facilities of PDC, a company specialized in multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) and part of the Walsin Group. During the visit, our representatives were able to know in depth the different production stages such as slurry, casting, stacking, sintering, tumbling or sorting, as well as to observe the rigorous quality controls implemented by the company. The visit was guided by Grace Chen and Tina Fang, who accompanied the team throughout the day.
A tour of the production lines of Joying, a company in which PDC has a 30-35% shareholding, was also conducted.
Second stop: Taiwan - Neltron
The next visit in Taiwan was to Neltron, a supplier with which Eurotronix has had a close relationship for years. There they toured the CNC and stamping plants, responsible for the manufacture of metal terminals, as well as their main factory, which integrates the complete production cycle: from plastic injection and automated assembly to 100% automated quality control.
In a gesture that demonstrates the close relationship between the two companies, the Neltron team organized a day of recreational activities to accompany our representatives, further strengthening the bonds of trust. We are especially grateful for the hospitality of Peter, Betty and Chris.
Tercera parada: China - Degson Global Partners Summit 2025
In China, Nicolás and Álvaro participated in the Global Partners Summit 2025, organized by Degson. This event brought together distributors from around the world to share knowledge, strengthen relationships and recognize joint work.
We are proud to share that Eurotronix was honored with the Contribution Award, a recognition of our commitment, growth and collaboration with the brand. In addition, Pablo Mateo was distinguished with the Excellent Partnership Award for his outstanding results in 2024. Nicolás collected the award on behalf of the company, and Álvaro on behalf of Pablo.
During the following days, Degson organized a visit to its new production plant in Ningbo, where the high standard of quality and efficiency of its processes was once again demonstrated. There were also cultural activities such as a visit to the Ningbo museum and an international celebration with distributors from different continents, where Nicolas had the honor of representing Europe in the symbolic lighting of a bonfire.
Last stop: UniOhm - Kunshan, China
The last stage of the trip was a visit to the UniOhm factory in Kunshan, one of the company’s seven plants in China and Thailand. The production lines for Thin Film and Thick Film resistors as well as components for industrial and automotive applications were presented. Royal has a production capacity of up to 80 billion parts per month, reflecting its size and operational efficiency.
This trip has been a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships, learn about the capabilities of our partners and continue consolidating our growth strategy.
